Description
This product makes the stool softer and easier to pass, by drawing water into the bowel
- Can be used by children, adults and the elderly
- Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant, might become pregnant or are breast-feeding
- You must talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after several days
DO NOT USE
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to lactulose or any of the other ingredients of Lactulose (see sections 2 and 6)
- if you have a rare problem called galactosaemia
- if you have a blockage caused by anything else but normal constipation, gastrointestinal perforation or risk of perforation
- if you suffer from unexplained tummy ache
- if you are unable to digest milk sugar (lactose intolerant)
- if you have diabetes
- if you have a galactose or fructose intolerance
- if you have total lactase deficiency
- if you have glucose-galactose malabsorption
