Description
These Aspirin Tablets are used to reduce the likelihood of further heart attacks or strokes in patients with a previous history of these conditions, when taken regularly
- Do not give this medicine to children under the age of 16
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
- You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 3 days
DO NOT USE
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) e.g. ibuprofen, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6). Symptoms may include rhinitis(runny nose), swollen face, mouth or tongue, itchy rash or asthma attack
- if you have or have had a stomach ulcer
- if you have a condition where your blood does not clot properly (e.g. haemophilia)
- if you are taking medicines to thin your blood such as warfarin
- if you have or have had gout
- if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy or are breast-feeding
