Description
Ferrous Sulfate tablets are used for the prevention and treatment of iron-deficiency anaemia
- Not recommended for children under 6 years or weighing less than 22 kg
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine
DO NOT USE
- if you are allergic to the active substance, iron salts, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6)
- if you are receiving repeated blood transfusions
- if you are receiving iron intravenously
- if you have a disorder in which there is excessive absorption and storage of iron such as haemochromatosis
